Robert Rodriguez's 'Machete' doesn't hit DVD and Blu-ray until January 4th, 2011, but there's no need to wait another two weeks to get a peek at what's in store. We're more than happy to bring you a deleted scene today.

If you caught Rodriguez controversial, Danny Trejo-starring throwback action-comedy over the summer, you'll know at what point in the movie this scene was supposed to take place. If you haven't seen the film, however, here's a little background:

Robert De Niro plays a scummy senator who is hellbent on doing whatever it takes to win his next election. Jeff Fahey, his equally scummy right hand man, has arranged for a random Mexican guy (Danny Trejo's Machete) off of the street be framed for the failed assassination of the senator. And Jessica Alba is an honest government agent trying to get to the bottom of all of it. This particular scene, had it remained in the film, would have taken place after the staged assassination attempt.
