When Seth Rogen slimmed up, Jay Chou replaced Stephen Chow, and Michel Gondry slipped into the director's chair, 'The Green Hornet' had a plan: Build up buzz and become one of 2010's big summer movies. But with the rise of 3-D mania, Sony decided to remove it from the summer lineup and give it a 3-D conversion. The new plan: Release it in March, during Spring break, and give the kids some comedic action to dig into.

But as you may have noticed, the Hornet isn't buzzing his way on-screen in March. The big-screen mayhem kicks off this weekend in the middle of the usually dead month of January, all because of superhero name confusion.
