Allen and Soon-Yi walking in Villa Borghese Park in Rome.
For the last six years -- save a momentary return to Manhattan for 'Whatever Works' -- Woody Allen has been basking in the wonder of Europe. It all started when rising production price-tags pushed him out of his beloved New York, forcing him to find cheaper cinematic metropolises. Allen crossed the Atlantic and found varying success in the likes of London, Barcelona and soon Paris with the romantic comedy 'Midnight in Paris.'
But his European tour is far from over, and the venerable filmmaker is heading to Italy -- Rome to be exact -- for his next film with the help Italian studio Medusa.
