Why are you even reading this? You should just immediately click past the jump and start watching 'Blinky™,' the amazing new short film about a boy and his robot.
'Blinky' stars Max Records, famous for appearing in 2009's 'Where the Wild Things Are.' In this new short, he plays a young boy caught between arguing parents; his only friend (whether he likes it or not) is the titular character, a robotic toy that just wants to help.
Without risking overhype, 'Blinky™' is excellently done and offers up a nice 'Twilight Zone'-as-done-by-Spielberg vibe (ignoring the one time Spielberg actually did do a 'Twilight Zone'). Check out the video after the jump.
