Deals for films of all stripes continue fast and furious at the Cannes Film Fest, including a new romantic comedy with Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel and a black comedy with Christopher Walken and Mickey Rourke in the follow-up from 'In Bruges' director Martin McDonagh.
First up, Gabriele Muccino's 'Playing the Field,' starring Butler as a washed-up, retired soccer pro who looks up his ex-wife (Biel), finds himself coaching a boys soccer team and becomes the object of every swooning soccer mom's affections. (Get in line, ladies.) The cast also includes Uma Thurman, Judy Greer, Dennis Quaid and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Look for it in spring 2012.
