So, have you seen it yet? 'The Hangover Part II' opened Wednesday night, presumably to satiate eager superfans who just couldn't wait for a traditional Friday release. The original 'Hangover' is the highest-grossing R-rated comedy ever, so yeah, expectations for the sequel are pretty high.
This time around, the guys head to Thailand for Stu's (Ed Helms) wedding. Despite Stu's attempts to keep the days leading up to his wedding as low-key as possible, he, Phil (Bradley Cooper) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) wind up blacking out again and waking up in the squalor of a seedy Bangkok hotel. Instead of losing Doug (Justin Bartha), the guys lose Stu's future brother-in-law Teddy (Mason Lee), a 16-year-old medical prodigy.
The central plot of 'The Hangover 2' is essentially the same as the original: The guys have a crazy night, lose someone and struggle to piece together what happened the night before -- all in the final hours leading up to someone's wedding.
