We have been patiently waiting for the first footage of 'Moneyball' for quite some time, and 'Entertainment Tonight' has finally provided a small snippet from the highly anticipated movie starring Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Based on the 2003 New York Times Bestseller by Michael Lewis, 'Moneyball' has been in the works for quite some time. Unfortunately, it has hit a few snags along the way. First the film was postponed three days before production was scheduled to begin. After that, Steven Soderbergh, who was originally supposed to direct the baseball flick, was dropped by Sony who apparently didn't like the approach he was taking. Oscar winner Aaron Sorkin was then called in to rewrite the script, and eventually Bennett Miller (Capote) was chosen to direct.
