Sick of hearing about superhero movies yet? Well, we hope not, because there are plenty on the horizon.

It seems like every day one of the countless comic book flicks that are in production comes out with new info (see Mark Ruffalo's tweet yesterday about 'The Avengers'). However, at least the 'Captain America' photos that were released today give us something substantial to analyze (and fawn over).

Twelve stills from the upcoming Marvel film include new (creepy) shots of the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) as well as a few of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in pre-Captain America form. One of the photos may also hold a hint as to what to expect -- not only in this film, but in next summer's 'The Avengers', too (you'll have to head over to the official 'Captain America' site to see that one).

Hit the jump to check out the full versions of the new photos.
