Happy birthday, Canada!
Canada, as you may know, is pretty great. And today is Canada Day, which, as you may not know, celebrates:
the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act (today called the Constitution Act), which united three British colonies into a single country, called Canada, within the British Empire."
So get out there and play some hockey, drink a few LaBatts, and watch a James Cameron movie. After all, that guy proves that Canadians are capable of being just as arrogant as Americans ... and just as good at making those movie films we love so much.
And in case you need a refresher on just who is and who isn't Canadian -- they look just like us, don't they? -- here's a helpful list of Our Favo(u)rite Canadians. (Shatner? Really?)
