That massive freeway shutdown that's got all of Los Angeles freaking out? The apes aren't happy about it either.

In a viral video tied to 20th Century Fox's 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes,' our spear-bearing primate cousins gather to protest 'Carmageddon,' as the closure of L.A.'s 405 freeway has been dubbed.

Maybe they got the idea from Hitler's meltdown on the subject, the latest in a fan-driven series of videos in which Der Fuhrer goes on an epic rant about anything from plot twists on 'Lost' and 'Supernatural,' Starbucks, or not being able to find Waldo, using footage from the German film 'Downfall.'

'Apes' opens Aug. 5. It stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Andy Serkis, Tom Felton (yes, every post we do today has to be Harry Potter–related in some way), Brian Cox and Tyler Labine.
