Quentin Tarantino has had no trouble giving opportunities to actors who were once thought past their primes (John Travolta in 'Pulp Fiction,' Pam Grier in 'Jackie Brown), and it looks like he'll be taking a shot with Kevin Costner.

Deadline is reporting that Costner has been cast in Tarantino's upcoming spaghetti-western/slavery flick, 'Django Unchained.' He is in negotiations to play Ace Woody, a sadistic trainer of slaves.

Costner will join a cast that already includes Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Leonardo DiCaprio.
