When it was announced earlier this week that Gerald McRaney had been cast in Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained' as an older Southern baddie, some wondered whether that meant Kevin Costner would still be involved in the film. Sadly, he won't. Variety reporter Justin Kroll revealed on Twitter that Costner had to pass on the film because of scheduling conflicts. Looks like the Kevin Costner comeback rests in the hands of 'Man of Steel' director Zack Snyder now. Pause here for nervous grumbling. [@krollvar]
