As John Travolta, Robert Forester, Pam Grier and Michael Parks can attest, Quentin Tarantino loves giving forgotten actors big comebacks. Which is why this latest bit of casting news for Tarantino's upcoming 'Django Unchained' should have nostalgists quite excited: Variety reports that Dennis Christopher ('Breaking Away,' 'Chariots of Fire') is in negotiations to co-star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Christophe Waltz and Gerald McRaney in the new film. Christopher would play the lawyer for DiCaprio's villainous slave owner, Calvin Candie. No word yet on other casting decisions, but fingers crossed the guy who played D'Annunzio in 'Caddyshack' gets a call. [Variety]
