You might find the premise to "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" completely ridiculous and silly -- that being: our sixteenth president killed vampires with an axe for a living -- but don't tell that to producer Tim Burton and director Timur Bekmambetov ("Wanted"). Judging from the serious new trailer for the film, killing vampires is not to be taken lightly.

Combining aspects of "Batman Begins," "Sherlock Holmes," "The Matrix" and "Underworld," the new clip showcases a bit more plot than the initial teaser, but doesn't skimp on the action. Daniel Day-Lewis might win an Oscar for playing Lincoln later this year in Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln," but here's guessing he doesn't get to cut a vampire's head off with an axe, like "Hunter's" Benjamin Walker.

Watch the trailer above. "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" is in theaters on June 22.
