"I don't want to be a good man, I want to be a great one," says James Franco in the trailer for the highly anticipated "Oz the Great and Powerful."

The clip, which debuted at Comic-Con on Thursday, isn't your grandmother's Oz. The Sam Raimi ("Spiderman") film is a prequel to Dorothy's red-slipper-filled adventure.

Here, Franco stars as Oscar Diggs, a conniving magician who has his own black-and-white tornado-of-sorts and ends up in the world of Oz. There, he finds more than Glinda and the Wicked Witch of the West; he has run-ins with three beautiful witches (played by Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams), and attempts to become the great wizard of his dreams.

Take a look at the trailer above; there's no place like home, indeed!

"Oz the Great and Powerful" hits theaters March 8, 2013.
