"Mawwiage." Say just that one mispronounced word out loud, and you're bound to get a laugh from a nearby "Princess Bride" fan. Not only is director Rob Reiner's 1987 fantasy tale, which turns 25 on Sept. 25, 2012, one of the most beloved of films, but also, thanks to William Goldman's clever screenplay (based on his own book), one of the most endlessly quotable.

In fact, while many of its stars have gone on to greater fame, for some, their "Princess Bride" role has been their most memorable, and several of its actors have said that not a day has gone by in 25 years when some fan doesn't quote back to him his signature line from the film.
