This weekend, Disney unleashes their mega-budget, candy-colored "Oz the Great and Powerful," a genuinely magical 3D spectacular directed by original "Spider-Man" director Sam Raimi and starring James Franco as the small-town magician who would go on to become the wonderful Wizard of Oz.

A prequel of sorts to the classic 1939 "Wizard of Oz," this new Oz-venture shows you how the "wizard" came to be, what fantastical creatures he encountered along his journey, and how the Wicked Witch of the West got so green.

Of course, there are some pretty major differences between "Wizard of Oz" and "Oz the Great and Powerful" and we've decided to run down the ten biggest!
