Angela Davis is one of the most recognizable American activists and scholars. Her journey embodies the important anti-oppression and social justice messages learned from the Black Panther Party, the social justice movement and free-thinking intellectuals.

I was given exclusive access to a sneak peek of Shola Lynch's highly anticipated feature-length documentary film Free Angela and All Political Prisoners. I'll post a full review of the film on a later date.

This short excerpt from the documentary highlights the hateful messages and death threats that Davis received after the Board of Regents of UCLA fired her for affiliation with the Communist Party and her unapologetic views.
