For many movie-goers, the decision as to what new movie to see this weekend will be simple: "Oblivion."

Tom Cruise's latest can be considered a bit of a monopoly at the box office this weekend because it is the only new, wide release hitting theaters. But for those of you who aren't into sci-fi, Cruise, or only-one-man-can-save-the-world action movies, you're in luck: This weekend also marks the wide release of "The Place Beyond the Beyond the Pines," the previously limited released drama starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, and Eva Mendes.

Now that you know "Oblivion" isn't the only horse in the race this weekend, are you unsure about what to see? Don't worry, Moviefone is here to make it easier.

Mr. Moviefone (aka Russ Leatherman) and our Editor-in-Chief, Tim Hayne, joined HuffPost Live host Alyona Minkovski to discuss this weekend's biggest releases, as well as the MPAA's big decision to change its ratings system. Check out this week's Moviefone Live above!
