In "Oblivion," moviegoers are guaranteed to have flashbacks to several film that the ambitious sci-fi flick clearly draws on.

Reviewers are noting that, while visually stunning, "Oblivion" borrows heavily from several classics, partly because director Joseph Kosinksi intended it as an homage to '70s movies including "Silent Running" and "Logan's Run."

But after seeing the film this weekend, we were also reminded of movies from the '80s and '90s, as well as one very recent indie to which it bears a strong similarity. We've rounded up all the films that we thought of while watching it.

Warning: MAJOR SPOILERS. Do not read until after you've seen the movie.
