"Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" isn't hitting theaters until August 23, but there is already a sequel in the works, with two stars confirmed to return: Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell-Bower.

According to a tweet from "Mortal Instruments" producer Martin Moszkowicz, the on-screen (and reportedly off-screen) couple are set to star in the next adaptation of the YA fantasy novel series, "City of Ashes." Cassandra Clare's popular book series has a big following, so it's not hard to see why sequels -- and even prequels -- are already in the works.

"Mortal Instruments" follows a New York City teenager (Collins) as she learns that she is a descendent from a noble line of half-angel demon slayers and joins their ranks in an attempt to rescue her mother.
