Over on Michael Bay's official website, the director has been uploading photos of vehicles that will be featured in next summer's robo-tastic "Transformers 4." It's kind of a nifty reveal -- without spoiling anything, Bay is able to tell us which cars will eventually transform into towering mechanical creatures when the film hits theaters next summer. There seems to be a crossover between gearheads (i.e. those who love cars) and "Transformers" fans, so it's a perfect way of gently building pre-release buzz.
Today, Bay unveiled a swanky new Transforming vehicle, the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4 Coupe. Since this Aventador is black, and villains usually wear black stuff, we're going to go out on a limb and say that this will likely be a Deceptacon. (You can scroll through the site and see other potential Autobots and Deceptacons, all managing to look both showroom and battlefield ready..)
Among the human actors scheduled appear in the fourth "Transformers" film are Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Miles, Li Bingbing, and T.J. Miller.
"Transformers 4," which hasn't begun principle photography, will be out on June 27th, 2014. Mount up!
