Christopher Nolan's upcoming sci-fi epic "Interstellar" is adding even more top-notch talent to its all-star cast, as Casey Affleck revealed he's joining the ensemble.
While promoting his starring role in the indie drama "Ain't Them Bodies Saints," the actor told ELLE magazine about his upcoming film projects.
"I've got a movie coming out at Thanksgiving called 'Out of the Furnace,' and I'm going to work on a Chris Nolan movie in the fall," he said.
Though there are no other details about how big of a role he will play -- and no details about the movie itself -- Affleck's involvement in the super-secret project is still exciting. He joins an eclectic cast that already includes Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, and theater veteran Bill Irwin (who appeared alongside Hathaway in "Rachel Getting Married").
Inspired by the time-travel theories of relativity expert Kip S. Thorne, "Interstellar" is an original script by Nolan and his brother Jonathan that was previously being developed by Steven Spielberg. It's due to start shooting this fall, to target a Nov. 7, 2014, release.
