Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx took a break from saving the country to attend the "White House Down" premiere in Washington, D.C. on Friday, June 21.

The pair looked dapper at the event, both wearing suits, ties, and their action-hero good looks. Tatum and Foxx were joined by their master-of-disaster-movies director, Roland Emmerich, along with co-stars Joey King, who plays Tatum's daughter in the film, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, who looked great in a long-sleeved, tea-length black dress.

In "WHD," Tatum plays Capitol Policeman John Cale, who is on a White House tour with his daughter when 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is attacked by a heavily strapped paramilitary group. To ensure that the government isn't destroyed from the inside-out, Cale takes the country's -- and the President's (Foxx) -- safety into his own hands.

Check out photos of the premiere below, and watch Tatum and Foxx save us all when "White House Down" hits theaters June 28.
