The Alamo Drafthouse wants to strike fear into the hearts of anyone who dares to use their phone at the theater.

In a new "Don't Talk" PSA for the cinema, "Drive" and "Only God Forgives" director Nicolas Winding Refn jokingly threatens to unleash a hammer-wielding Ryan Gosling on moviegoers who break out their phones during a showing.

"Like sex, let's keep it in the dark, guys," he says over the creepy "Only God Forgives" theme.

Famous for its two-strikes-you're-out no-phones policy, the Alamo Drafthouse shamed one stubborn texter by using an angry voicemail the patron left after getting booted from the theater in a subsequent PSA. So yeah, they mean business.

Just like scary Gosling.
