Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry are officially husband and wife, having tied the knot on Saturday, July 13, at Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France.
After exchanging vows in a civil union performed by a local mayor (per French law), Berry and Martinez held a religious ceremony in front of 60 guests in the Chateau chapel later that day, reports Us Weekly.
"[G]enerally it was pretty down-to-earth," reveals a local, with another source adding that everyone had a great time. "They all partied long into the night," the insider spills.
Berry, who was previously married to baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benet, is currently expecting her and Martinez's first child together, a boy.
The pregnancy came as a complete surprise to the 46-year-old actress, who also has a 5-year-old daughter, Nahla, from her relationship with model Gabriel Aubry. "I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me," she told CNN. "So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."
Berry and Martinez met in 2010 while filming the thriller "Dark Tide," and they announced their engagement early last year.
Elsewhere in the world of celebrity weddings, Jimmy Kimmel also got hitched over the weekend, marrying "Jimmy Kimmel Live" co-head writer Molly McNearney in front of 300 guests, including famous pals Howard Stern, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.
