Harrison Ford, we love you, but sometimes we can't tell when you're kidding around.
Ford appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Thursday night to promote his new movie "Paranoia," which opens August 16 and also stars Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman, and Amber Heard. But before chatting about that thriller, Kimmel grilled Ford about a few of his other upcoming projects, specifically "Anchorman 2" and "The Expendables 3."
Ford's responses were, well, a little lackadaisical.
With regards to his "Anchorman 2" cameo, which he filmed in one day in Atlanta, the 71-year-old actor admitted, "I never saw the original 'Anchorman.'" Smiling, he continued, "I got down there, and I had no idea who those guys were. And I still don't know who they are or what they think they're doing -- because it's clearly unreleasable." OK, near the end it seems like he's joking, right? Maybe?
Ford was similarly blasé about "The Expendables 3," though Sylvester Stallone was totally psyched about announcing it on Twitter. When Kimmel asked if he'd seen the previous two actioners, he sort of mumbled, "Why would I go to that...?" (We're on the same page there, at least.)
Ford is always good for an interesting and/or confusing press experience -- this video of him playing "Uncharted 3" in Japan is definitely worth nearly seven minutes of your time -- so we can't wait to see what he comes up with next while doing the rounds for "Ender's Game."
