Congratulations, Internet! You've voted "The Dark Knight" the best blockbuster sequel of all time in Moviefone's Summer Sequel Smackdown.

For the past four months (since April 29, to be exact), you've been casting your votes (hundreds of thousands of votes, to be more specific), narrowing 64 contenders down to the top four sequels from the most popular blockbuster movie genres: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" (fantasy), "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" (action), "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back" (sci-fi), and "The Dark Knight" (superhero).
Then, last week, we finally asked you to pick the top sequel from those four. For most of the week, "Empire Strikes Back" and "Dark Knight" were neck-and-neck, but, in the end, the Caped Crusader walked away the victor.
What do you think, dear readers? Was "The Dark Knight" really the right choice, or was a different movie more deserving of the top title? Tell us in the comments below!
