In a clip that reminds us of that one "South Park" episode in which Morgan Freeman gets a freckle every time he shows up to explain a convoluted plot, the "Oblivion" actor was prompted to read the brand-new Oxford Dictionaries Online definition of "twerk" during an appearance on HLN's "Morning Express" earlier today.
"With feeling," says the host.
Summoning appropriate gravitas, Freeman reads, "The word 'twerking' has now been added to the Oxford dictionary. Here's the definition they gave: 'to dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner, involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance.'"
Given his commanding, freckle-worthy performance, we're surprised to learn that it's the first time he's heard the word, which was recently hijacked -- and then some -- by MTV VMAs wild child Miley Cyrus.
In other twerking news, Justin Bieber and Cyrus have released a new song called "Twerk," and it features such insightful lyrics as "I came up in this party, time to twerk."
