Vin Diesel leveraged his success with "Fast & Furious," his salary and, yes, even his house in order to bring that glowy-eyed Furyan "Riddick" back to the screen. Given only a fraction of what he and David Twohy made 2004's "The Chronicles of Riddick" for, the actor was determined to continue the series despite the massive failure of its previous installment and even having funds pulled just prior to shooting.

That kind of gusto and determination (not to mention cojones) should be celebrated, so we're showcasing ten other sequels that limped their way to the screen despite myriad obstacles. Here are the little sequels that could, that somehow wormed their way through the system by overcoming budget problems, changing studios, musical chair talent, box office disaster, time passing or just plain old apathy.
