While independent movies are usually the underdogs at the box office, this weekend may prove otherwise as they're the only new movies opening.

To kick off the fall movie season there's a little indie something for everyone. There's alien ass-kicking in "Riddick," the true story of the South African political figure in "Winnie Mandela," steamy cougar affairs in "Adore," slapstick horror comedy in "Hell Baby," investigations of a mysterious author in "Salinger," and self-discovery triumphs in "Touchy Feely."

Yet just because indie films are made outside of the mainstream studios doesn't mean they're exempt from making mistakes. From disappearing adrenaline shot marks to shifting curtains, check out these 'uh-oh' moments from indie favorites.
