One sexy Brit was out, and now another has stepped in.
Variety reports that Tom Hiddleston has signed on to replace Benedict Cumberbatch in Guillermo del Toro's horror film "Crimson Peak." Cumberbatch dropped out of the enigmatic flick last month, in a move that may now be explained by the announcement that the busy actor is in talks to star in a movie adaptation of "The Lost City of Z."
Hiddleston can next be seen as villainous Loki in "Thor: The Dark World," in theaters November 8.
Also starring Charlie Hunnam, Jessica Chastain, and Mia Wasikowska, "Crimson Peak" will begin shooting in February 2014.
