The Dowager Countess would not approve.

Jessica Brown Findlay, who played Lady Sybil on "Downton Abbey," is in talks to join the cast of 20th Century Fox's upcoming "Frankenstein" movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Findlay would play a trapeze artist who grows close to Daniel Radcliffe's hunchbacked assistant Igor in the wake of an accident. James McAvoy is also set to star as the eccentric Dr. Frankenstein.

"It's about two young, brilliant guys pushing each other. Eventually one loses his morality and the other has to bring him back," Radcliffe tells THR. From director Paul McGuigan ("Wicker Park"), "Frankenstein" is set to film this fall in London and Scotland.

The classic story by Mary Shelley has been made into several movies; the last one was directed by Kenneth Branagh in 1994 and starred Robert De Niro and Helena Bonham Carter.

Findlay has had more time on her hands ever since Lady Sybil died of childbirth complications on "Downton Abbey" last season. The 23-year-old actress can next be seen in the February 2014 fantasy movie "Winter's Tale," opposite Will Smith, Matt Bomer, and Colin Farrell.
