"Walking Dead" actress Laurie Holden is used to working with characters who want to eat brains, but now she'll be working with characters who could use them.
Holden, best known for her role as Andrea on AMC's "The Walking Dead," has landed a lead part in "Dumb and Dumber To." She will play Adele Pichlow, described by Deadline as "the well to do wife of a doctor who is up to no good and who plans to use Harry and Lloyd to cover her tracks."
This is Holden's first high-profile role following her exit from "The Walking Dead" earlier this year. The actress previously worked with "Dumb and Dumber" star Jim Carrey in 2001's "The Majestic."
Production has already kicked off on the follow-up to the 1994 comedy, set to take place (and be released) 20 years after the original. Jeff Daniels and a toothless Carrey will reprise their roles.
