Two new posters for upcoming YA adaptation "Divergent" show off some impressive ink on stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James.
The tattoos are part of their characters' identities, and help them fit in with the Dauntless (bravery) camp, the faction of society they choose to live in after being declared Divergent, or suited to many different factions. Tris (Woodley) left her family behind in the Abnegation (selflessness) camp, and honors them with her tattoo of three black ravens on her collarbone.
On Four (James), we see his entire back covered in ink, including the symbols from all five factions: Abnegation, Amity (peace), Candor (honesty), Dauntless, and Erudite (intelligence).
"Divergent," based on the bestselling book series from Veronica Roth, opens March 21, 2014.
