The cast for the final two movies in the "Hunger Games" franchise -- The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Parts 1 & 2" is rapidly filling up.
Lionsgate announced more additions to the "Mockingjay" lineup -- most notably Mahershala Ali, as Boggs, right-hand man to President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore). Ali recently appeared as Remy Danton on Netflix's "House of Cards," and has also been seen in "Alphas," "Treme," and "The 4400."
Omid Abtahi of "Revolution," "Homeland," and "Argo" has been tapped as Homes, a sharpshooter from District 13.
They join recent cast additions Wes Chatham ("The Help") and Elden Henson ("Jobs"), who are playing cameramen Castor and Pollux.
With these announcements, it seems director Francis Lawrence has filled almost all of the major roles in "Mockingjay." Filming started this week, with stars Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth spotted in Atlanta.
"Hunger Games" Mockingjay - Part 1" is due in theaters November 2014, with "Part 2" due the following year. But fans can still look forward to this November's release of "Catching Fire."
