"Bad Santa," meet the Bad Leprechaun.
"Games of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage is set to use his height to comedic effect in Paramount's untitled R-rated movie about a man who tricks people into thinking he's a real leprechaun, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie is being compared to "Bad Santa," the raunchy 2003 comedy starring Billy Bob Thornton as a foul-mouthed, drunk department store Santa Claus impersonator. The project's screenwriter, Andrew Dodge, also penned Jason Bateman's directorial debut, "Bad Words," a profane and twisted look at the world of spelling bees.
Dinklage, an Emmy and Golden Globe winner for "Game of Thrones," is very much in demand during his breaks from filming the hit HBO drama. The leprechaun project will have to wait until Dinklage is finished shooting season 4, which is currently underway. His next movie is "X-Men: Days of Future Past," opening next July.
