Things are about to get a whole lot more Burgundy. After years without Ron Burgundy, the smarmy '70s news anchor portrayed by Will Ferrell in 2004's "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," we're now being bombarded with all things Burgundy. There's the hotly anticipated sequel opening this Christmas, a series of never-ending (and increasingly bizarre) Dodge Durango commercials, and even an "autobiography" entitled "Let Me Off At The Top! My Life and Other Musings," which has just gotten its own trailer. (Yes, apparently books have trailers these days).

The trailer, which is less than a minute long, features Ferrell looking into the camera and addressing the audience in regards to Burgundy's forthcoming book. "I've been asked to talk about my highly, highly anticipated autobiography," Ferell-as-Burgundy growls. "Well, it turns out I'm a great book writer." Later in the trailer, with a completely straight face, Ferrell says: "I'm not going to lie to you: this is a very important book by an important man." We believe you!

While the chances of the book being anything more than marginally entertaining are probably pretty low, this commercial sure is funny. Quite frankly, Will Ferrell could stare blankly at the camera for two hours and "Anchorman 2" would still be one of my most anticipated movies of the year.

Check out the trailer for "Let Me Off at the Top!" above, which arrives in bookstores November 19. "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" opens a month later on December 20. Chances are one of those Dodge commercials is on TV right now.
