Chris Pratt worked a lot of odd jobs before he became famous, including painting murals, serving burgers, and mowing lawns. Oh yeah, and stripping.
In an interview with BuzzFeed, Pratt revealed that he was "a very enterprising kid," and worked several amateur stripping gigs when he turned 18, including a bachelorette party and a birthday party for a friend's grandmother.
"I was always a very much naked person," Pratt said. "I loved to always get naked. I was very free, so I thought, I may as well get paid."
The actor, set to star in the upcoming Marvel flick "Guardians of the Galaxy," revealed that he even auditioned for a job dancing at a nightclub, but was turned down.
"I was never like 'Magic Mike,' you know," he said. " ... I don't think I'm a very good dancer."
Fans who saw photos of Pratt's ripped body may be disappointed that he's since given up stripping, though as he tells BuzzFeed, his weight has yo-yo'd quite a bit over the years. He put on about 60 pounds for his role in the upcoming Vince Vaughn dramedy "Delivery Man," then shed that weight (and then some) for "Guardians." Last month, he told Access Hollywood that his six-pack has since been replaced with a "one-pack."
Whatever his weight, Pratt's charming humor is enough to enchant us. If you decide to start stripping again, Chris, you know who to call.
