Perhaps we can blame the Oxford Dictionary people for this.

The "Star Wars" movie that isn't due out until December 2015 now has its own Instagram, and its inaugural pic shows that even one of the most villainous movie characters of all time isn't immune to a little in-the-mirror action.

That's right, Darth Vader has taken a selfie using what looks like an iPhone, and he even managed to hashtag it with those big leather gloves of his. "Another day at the office. #StarWars #DarthVader #selfies #gpom." (For those of you at home, "gpom" is an acrynom for "gratuitous picture of myself," the grammatically correct alternative to "gpoy," which stands for "gratuitous picture of yourself.")

Sometimes even Darth Vader needs to know people like his photo on Instagram, especially on a Monday morning.
