The New York Film Critics Circle announced its awards slate Tuesday, and David O. Russell's "American Hustle" claimed the Best Picture prize.

The film, inspired by the 1970s ABSCAM scandal, also took home Best Screenplay honors, and Jennifer Lawrence won the Best Supporting Actress prize for her role.

Other honorees include Best Actress winner Cate Blanchett ("Blue Jasmine"), Best Actor winner Robert Redford ("All Is Lost"), and Best Supporting Actor winner Jared Leto ("Dallas Buyers Club"). Steve McQueen was named Best Director for "12 Years a Slave."

A complete list of winners is available here. The NYFCC will present its awards at a ceremony in January.
