The battle between the Greeks and Persians is far from over; in fact, the killing is just beginning.

In "300," several hundred brave Spartans are vanquished by the God-King, Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and his army of thousands. In "300: Rise of an Empire," Xerxes teams up with the bloodthirsty Artemisia (Eva Green) to wipe out the rest of the Greeks.

"Sparta will fall. All of Greece will fall," Artemisia promises in a new trailer for the sequel. Her foes, Queen Gorgo (Lena Headey) and Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton), know she will be tough to defeat because "she has sold her soul to death himself."

The new trailer is filled with the stylized fighting, blood, gore, and glowering that made "300" such a huge success. It seems the follow-up won't be departing from the original's blueprint.

"300: Rise of an Empire" invades theaters March 7, 2014.
