"The Canyons" bombed, but that isn't stopping Lindsay Lohan for getting right back in acting action, and for that, we've gotta give her some credit. The actress has signed on to star in and produce "Inconceivable," a $5M thriller that will go into production in March. Lohan made the announcement at a press conference at Sundance.

Right now, there's not much more to report on "Inconceivable." Lohan will be part of the director-hiring process, and she has some ideas about who she'd like to star -- Jessica Lange and Juliette Lewis, for instance -- but there's nothing set in stone.
According to BuzzFeed, the small press conference was also filmed for an upcoming Oprah doc series and everyone had to sign a release. "It's a psychological thriller about a woman who's kind of on a journey to reclaim something that was lost of hers. And it gets a bit dark, but it's a really interesting twist, and it's something that I'm really looking forward to doing sooner rather than later," Lohan told the attendees. She'll be playing "a girl who comes into someone else's life and creates a bit of silent chaos."
Right now, the plan is to release the film in NYC and LA before going to DVD and VOD.
