According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael B. Jordan is already set as The Human Torch and hot commodity Miles Teller ("Spectacular Now") may join him as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic.
Sources tell THR that director Josh Trank is screen-testing several actors for the roles. Emmy Rossum ("Shameless") and Kate Mara ("House of Cards") are vying to play Sue Storm, aka The Invisible Woman, while British actor Christian Cook ("Magic City") tested as Ben Grimm, aka the Thing.
Names that are no longer swirling in the "Fantastic Four" rumor mill: Elizabeth Olsen, Saoirse Ronan, and Kit Harington.
Fox is still looking for a big name to play the main villain, Dr. Doom, and apparently "isn't ruling out switching genders for the role." That should really get "Fantastic Four" fans buzzing!
