Matt Damon has joined a seemingly ever-growing list of people who have gotten a look at Ben Affleck's Batsuit for his upcoming role as the Caped Crusader in the "Man of Steel" sequel. Damon revealed that he's seen the goods during a recent interview to promote his latest flick, "The Monuments Men," and the actor had only rave reviews.

"I have seen a picture [of the suit]," Damon told MTV News. "It's excellent. And I've talked to [Affleck] about the story line, and it's great."

While Damon didn't divulge any further details about the suit or the plot, he did tell MTV that he thought his longtime friend had made the right call in taking the high-profile part in Zack Snyder's film.

"Look, I've known him for thirty-something years," Damon said. "I'd be the first guy being like, 'Buddy, what are you doing?' But I think the movie is going to be great."

"Batman vs. Superman" hits theaters May 6, 2016.
