noah reviews
Darren Aronofsky's "Noah" had its world premiere last night in Mexico City, and a few choice reactions have been floating around the Internet. Although full reviews are still embargoed, some viewers and journalists have been sharing their impressions about the big-budget Biblical epic on social media. And so far? They're pretty good!

There's been plenty of ink (well, pixels) spilled on the supposed behind-the-scenes problems between Darren Aronofsky and Paramount over test screenings and cuts and all that, and only time will tell if "Noah" will follow in the webbed footsteps of Oscar darling "Black Swan" or beloved box office flop "The Fountain." For now, it seems the studio is hoping that some positive Twitter buzz will help boost what already seems like a potentially divisive movie.

Aronofsky discussed the boycotts of "Noah" as "sad," telling the Times of Israel, "[W]e knew it might be a problem when we first started this. But it's sad, because I know people would get a lot out of the movie, but you have to respect what people think."
