Best friends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler haven't collaborated on the big screen since 2008's "Baby Mama." Thankfully, that long dry spell is coming to an end with news that they're teaming up for a new comedy.

Showbiz 411 reports that the pair will star in "The Nest," with Fey and Poehler playing 30-something sisters whose parents are selling their childhood home. They decide to throw one last rager at the house as a final send-off; naturally, some shenanigans will likely ensue.

Fey has been attached to the project for over a year now, to both star and produce, but now with Poehler jumping into "The Nest" -- also in a starring/producing capacity, per Showbiz 411 -- we hope that it can get off the ground soon. The film is slated to be directed by "Pitch Perfect" helmer Jason Moore.

Honestly, we'd pay to see Fey and Poehler do anything, both separately and apart, but this project and the talent behind it (including "Saturday Night Live" vet Paula Pell, who's writing the screenplay) sound especially promising. Their hilarious Golden Globes hosting gigs proved that they have no trouble translating their real-life friendship into dazzling comedic chemistry. We can't wait to see them bring that vibe to playing siblings. Count us super excited for "The Nest."
