Jennifer Lawrence has already proven that's she got a good head on her shoulders, if her recent comments about understanding some of the backlash against her are any indication. But the actress has also revealed herself to have a good heart, too, thanks to a selfless act involving her fellow Oscar-winning actress, Lupita Nyong'o.

In an interview with Marie Claire, Lawrence said that in the 2014 Oscar race pitting her against fellow Best Supporting Actress nominee (and eventual winner) Lupita Nyong'o, the Academy member and "American Hustle" star knew for whom she would cast her vote.

"I was very happy I voted for Lupita," Lawrence told Marie Claire of the "12 Years a Slave" actress. "It's beautiful when you watch something good happen to somebody when it's well deserved."

Lawrence's gesture -- especially when it came at her own expense -- speaks volumes to how she views fellow high-profile actresses, including another Oscar winner. During the same Marie Claire interview, Lawrence commented on the hatred spewed at the 2013 Best Supporting Actress winner, Anne Hathaway ("Les Miserables"), and how much of it pitted the two women against each other (it was the same year Lawrence took home the Best Actress statuette for "Silver Linings Playbook").

"I thought that was really fucked up," Lawrence said. "It's like, you're sitting behind your computer and writing awful things about a person. F--k you!"

We're all for actresses supporting each other, especially since they're still grossly underrepresented in Hollywood. Cheers to J-Law for speaking out against silly, imaginary rivalries, and for remaining her foul-mouthed self in the process.
