big hero 6 posterIf it's one thing that's abundantly clear, based on the marketing materials released so far for Disney's animated superhero romp "Big Hero 6," it's that the movie's inflatable robot Baymax is really, really, ridiculously cute.

The film, based on a cultish Marvel comic book by Steven Seagle and Duncan Rouleau, concerns Hiro Hamada, a young boy living in the futuristic metropolis of San Fransokyo, and dreams of becoming a part of a real-life superhero team. To that end, he outfits his squishy helper robot Baymax with armor so that he can also become a hero. Hilarious hijinks undoubtedly ensue.

One of the two posters just features Baymax looking out at you, and it's hard not to think about how many billions of dollars of Baymax toys and action figures Disney will undoubtedly sell. The second poster, reminiscent of the early promotional materials for Pixar's "The Incredibles," shows Hiro looking up at his inflatable robot pal and wondering how he's going to sit the last piece of armor -- meant for his stomach -- onto the giant protruding cannonball that is Baymax's tummy. Again: really, very cute.

"Big Hero 6," directed by "Winnie the Pooh's" Don Hall and co-directed by Chris Williams ("Bolt") and featuring the voices of T.J. Miller, Jamie Chung, and Maya Rudolph, will be out on November 7th, 2014.
