Following news that two of its co-hosts will depart the series soon, longtime ABC talk show "The View" is bringing back a familiar face: Rosie O'Donnell.

TMZ reports that O'Donnell has made a deal to return to the show, on which she was a panelist from 2006 to 2007 before making a very high-profile exit from the program following an on-air dust-up with conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck. According to TMZ, O'Donnell was looking for a lucrative contract to lure her back, and it seems that that's what she's gotten.

There's been no comment from O'Donnell or ABC on the report yet, though TMZ says an official announcement about O'Donnell's return is expected soon.

Both Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd are departing "The View" -- McCarthy's one-year contract was not renewed and Shepherd declined to renegotiate her contract -- and ABC is now looking to revamp the long-running talk show following creator/co-host Barbara Walters's retirement earlier this year. Whoopi Goldberg is the only panelist that will remain with the program.

TMZ's report also says that the show is looking to add a conservative co-host and a Latina co-host. Conservatives Abby Huntsman and Margaret Hoover are currently the frontrunners to land a chair.
